I thought so - it's what I paid with import and VAT etc. Except I bought unseen and took all the risks.

The new owner will have the benefit of seeing it and playing it before committing to buying.

You don't see many of this model come up for sale either...

For those who haven't worked it out I'm in Brum but will meet within reasonable distances.

Lot of love for DCs here... have a "Wow!" from me.

Yours is an absolute beauty.

I recently picked up a 2011 LP DC Goldtop with P90s (limited run I believe) and I love it.

IMO, the DCs are much more comfortable to play than your typical LP, but that's just me.

If I had a spare grand, I would be adding yours to the collection to partner it.

@littlethoughts - no not really I got used to it pretty quickly.

The action is a bit lower than I'd like but apart from that it plays well.

I'm happy to wait if anyone is getting the money together - I don't think I'll be moving house this side of Xmas.

It's not just about the cash. I'm not allowed a guitar room in the new house so got to look at what I've got and try and eave myself with less guitars and keep ones that will get used.

If it helps I might consider trades for a much cheaper Strat (maple board) but it would need to be a great deal in my direction to make me think about it. There is a Strat shaped hole in the collection!

@underdog you are welcome to come and see it - no pressure. I'm out and about most weekends so might even be able to bring it to whereever you are in Brum.
