Really interesting as I have a '72 Deluxe Reverb in possibly slightly better condition than this one. Yes it would have been nice if the guitar was in tune, but overall the two videos are interesting and informative. Thanks for posting.

This chap's YT channel is worth exploring, he's got a shed load of videos on old valve gear and tube theory.
This one is a good explanation of the notorious 'death-cap' that was prevelant in many older amps.
