Well its been a slow day today due to visiting the in laws but I've managed to sort the dodgy patch on the front of the body. Tomorrow the neck is having its second and possibly final coat before clear and the back of the body is getting it's first colour coat

more progress and the all important piccies. the back has had its first deep colour coat put on and i must say even though the colour is coming out greener than expected i'm really liking it.

the neck has had its second colour coat and i think it's going to stay as is and get some clear coats on there now.

and the dodgy spot on the left opposite the control cavity is looking loads better now as well

Well now I've kicked the hangover from hell I've got the 2nd coat of wudtone on the front and sides. I'm running out now so thinking one more coat on the back, give it a couple of days to cure and start on the base coats

I'd just like to say I'd bone Charlize Theron all day long. Nothing at all to do with yer thread matey, just watching some Snow White thing on the telly device and happen to be on your thread. I'd hit Kristen Stewart too, but not all day.

Been thinking while I tidied up a few guitar bits I've found a roll of shielding tape. Is it worth shielding everything before I put it all together?

Well first up is the back of the body with its 2nd and last deep colour coat, I have used the whole bottle though.

And now for the neck, it's only had 2 coats of colour but highlights the grain amazingly. The first clear coat is on and drying.

Well things are moving nicely now albeit slowly. The first base coat has gone on today so got a couple days before the body is ready for more but it is looking nice

It's looking like it's darkened a bit but I still want to be able to see the grain so I don't think it will get more than 2 or 3 coats

That's the last coat of clear on the neck. Just the body to finish now. Need the remote control from click lol

I bet that's gutting. I was gonna wire my scratch plate up yesterday until I realised my pup wires go through holes in the body

I see it every time I go into the music room mate. On the plus side, by the time I can start again I'll have everything I need on hand to carry on until she's done.

That's a bonus then I guess. I think I may need a bit more wire wool that's all
