replacement rotary switch help

Right I've got a busted rotary switch in my amp. The switch selects between 5 different mid boost settings and it looks like this..

Now I know next to sod all about electronics so can someone confirm what sort of switch this is. From the pictures on the Banzaimausic website I _think_ it's a 2x6 like this http://www.banzaimusic.com/Rotary-Switch-2x6-Solder-Lugs.html

Am I correct here?

Yes. It has a 'stop' collar which you can move to a different hole position to make it a five-way.

But before you do, in what way is the switch broken? If it's the shaft, yes you do need a new switch. If it's making bad contact, it's a two-pole switch so you could try paralleling the matching terminals on both sides - ie connect the yellow wire to both centre terminals, and use five short wires to link across to the equivalent positions for the ones on this side of the picture.
