Fender Supersonic 22 speaker swap

Alright, just wondering if anyone has experimented with swapping the speakers out in a fender ss22?
The stock one does nothing at all for me... Amp will often be used with a suhr riot through the front end so I need something to take a bit of gain...
Always liked plenty of smooth mids to my drive tones, but at the same time I don't wanna sacrifice the cleans! Get on with v30's in practically everything else and fender put one in the ss60, so I'm kinda leaning towards those at the moment...
Any other ideas and suggestions?
