Every one of my amps gets played regularly and each one has been used at different gigs. At home it often depends on my mood - the VC30 gets played at home less simply because of volume and I have to wait until rest of family is out.
For gigging it depends on type of music and size of gig. The Marshall 8080 was my main gigging amp for years and is still my go to back-up amp. The Cub gets used at small club gigs and the rest at bigger gigs.
Each amp has its charms with something different to offer than the others and each has its limitations. I've learned how to get the best out of each one. It is nice to have a little bit of choice.
Currently I have three.
My CAA OD50, JCM800 and 1987x
So I seem to have quite a lot of Marshall style gain covered....
Ive owned some real stunning amps, but these three never seem to budge...
I shan't ever sell any of them either.
It'll just be incomings as and when I can afford it/deem it necessary.
If be hard pushed to find a better amp for my tastes than the CAA anyway.
I do find myself hankering after maybe about 4/5 amps.

I've just found a Peavey Backstage 10w that I forgot I had so had it repaired today and can't remember how I acquired it in the first place either, it just 'appeared' in my garage a few years ago. I hope someone leaves a suitcase with a million pounds in it in my garage too, that would really be useful. The Peavey sounds great and it may only be 10 watts, but they are really big watts.
I also have a HH IC100 which I almost never use as it's just so loud that I rarely have the knobs over 4 so what's the point for someone who plays in their living room? I'll get around to selling it one day.
I have two Orange 100w cabinets that have been sitting in my parents garage for decades, when I was a kid I'd bring home my school's 200w multichannel PA amplifier in the holidays and hook it all up and play it all on 10 in the garden. A friend who lived half a mile away could hear me. Probably quite selfish considering we lived in a semi detached with neighbours on all sides.
I said maybe.....
Wow, I am worn out just describing... At least I can justify owning them all I suppose.
My trusty Hiwatt, my Clapton Twinolux and my THR5.
What more would one need?

laney VC30 212, main gigger
cub 12r , some gigs and jams
peavey bandit 112 , general knock about and rehearsals
orange micro terror, taken to gigs as a backup, and used at rehearsals sometimes thru a 112 cab of unknown origins
kustom practise amp, used at home for, guess what, practising.
I keep thinking I should cut down, make space but they all get used and enjoyed.
