    I treated myself to this earlier this year.

    They are wonderful if a little self indulgent. But I could cry at how easy they make some jobs that I have struggled with over the years. 

    Next job is to stud in and build double doors to replace the up and over effort on my garage. it will be a doddle with this.

    oh, there's no doubt that the right tools make a job not only easier but much quicker. Plus this building will be on public display, so it has to look good. I built a smaller, "lean to" type building in the spring, and while it's rock solid, it doesn't look professional as I struggled to cut things like bracing struts neatly. Each time I walk past it, it really grates that it has these cosmetic flaws.
