This guitar is pretty much brand new.

Bought it last year when GAK were knocking them out dirt cheap.

I bought one to see if I liked it but sadly it's not really for me.

This is still a ridiculous price for this guitar - I think they were around £600 or £700 new.

Never gigged. Probably played it for 2 hours tops.

I bought the single cut DS-1 with blackouts. They're nice guitars with an oiled thru-neck, and it sounded awesome. I traded mine in the end for a Jackson Dinky Pro.

That's a good price especially with the FR-1000!

I have one of these and its a lot of guitar for that sort of money. 

Great Floyd on them and the EMGs are also very good. Plus they are through neck guitars and so sustain is really, really good.

Thanks for the reassurance! Havent spent much time with active PUs before so will be interesting to see how different they will be to passives. Looking forward to smashing out some metal riffage on it!

Sweet. Good to know it has plenty of sustain with drop tuning. Curious to know your string gauges. I tune to C standard, with the occasional drop A# on the top string.
