Switching speakers in standby

What's Hot
Hi all,

I've just picked up a 1x12 cab to add to my combo and wonder if it's safe to swap around different configurations (for A-B'ing, etc.) in standby - or do I need to power down fully?

Thanks!

Steve

Standby is fine - actually better, less hard on the valves than turning them off and back on again.

I did that with an old Traynor combo I had with no ill effects. Whether it's good practise to do that is another matter.

That's good to know, I've wondered this myself.

I thought that might be the case. Thanks, as always!
