We've got one of these - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/2442FX.aspx

It claims to have 24 inputs... which, of course doesn't mean channels, but I can't find 24 inputs !

Where are they ?!

  • Because the cheeky bastards count Aux Returns as 'inputs'.

The stereo ins count as 2 each then the line in's count as 2 each so there's another 8
The USB is another 2 etc

  • Behringer have been doing this for years!

    I reckon it's
    8 mono channels (8 'inputs')
    4 stereo channels (8 'inputs')
    4 aux returns (8 'inputs')

    24 'inputs'

But they're slipping - there's the CD/Tape inputs as well. They could call it 26 'inputs'!

It doesn't mean you can input a signal to it 24 times before i starts to develop some faults?  ;-)
