It is a great track @ICBM and I like the way the Guitar is used, sparingly, but perfect.

Not heard the rest of the album @bigjon it would be interesting to hear, but I'm not surprised the other tracks can't quite live up to that one, it's a tough one to follow.

Another good un from the 80's, more "Hair" though ;-)

I think the 80's probably contains most classic "Power Ballads"

I'm liking the taste of @bingefeller too.

Edit: Just spotted Cheap Trick earlier on, that'll learn me.

  • Great Cheap Trick track, @Bellycaster.

I think from mid 80s - late 1990s has the best power ballads.  I do like the hair power ballads myself.  Some good ones in the AOR genres too.

  • Too true @bingefeller

I used to be into a lot of AOR (and still am really) back in the late 80's early 90's. Dan Huff and Giant are highly revered here, he's played on tons of sessions, what a player.

I don't think anyone has done this one yet. Cutting Crew.

  • Neo-classic power balladry with Joe Stump on guitar and Michael Vescera on vocals.  Amazing stuff this track....
