Very pleased with this. If I had a spare £800 it would have a vintage Jaguar body. But I can't imagine it would sound much better for it!

(Still can't believe I wired it ok first time - something will probably come loose soon enough!).

Looking good. Take it the Mustang neck is the vintage? What year? - they're superb necks in my experience.

Mid 70s for the Mustang neck. Looks great, behind the flash of that picture, and feels nicely worn in.

Not convinced by the body colour - I was going to go natural - but this was cheaper and can be sanded down easily enough if I want to change it.

That looks very cool. I wouldn't worry about the body colour, I think it works nicely with the tort plate.

Thanks. It's a really thin coat anyway so should wear nicely anyway.

Slight honeymoon period, maybe, but I am mightily impressed with the AVRI 65 pickups too. I now know the Jaguar Thinline pickups are not up to scratch and will probably go to Mojo for those to give something a bit different.

Can't wait to get home and start playing again...

Thanks. Still plays and sounds amazing so I'm not intending to do anything other than play it now.
