What music's in your car at the moment?

What CDs do you have?
What radio station is your car radio stuck to?
Or are you one of them lucky ducks who can play your iPod through the car stereo and that's your source?

At the moment, I've got 3 CDs:
- Scorpions "Return to Forever"
- Bigelf "Into the Maelstrom"
- Flying Colors "Second Nature"

Oh gosh so 2/3rds of the CDs in my car have Mike Portnoy on them?! It scares me how many albums I own that Portnoy has drummed on! His drumming on the Bigelf album I quite like. Sometimes was a bit OTT in Dream Theater.

Radio:
- Tuned to whatever random frequency my FM transmitter is currently set to! Though it was tuned to the only rock/metal station around here but my partner was driving my car last night and she fiddled with all me settings so that's gone (for now) I can't seem to save stations!

An old iPod Classic with pretty much everything I have on it.

That said, I generally listen to the radio - mostly either BBC6 Music or Radio 4 if I'm in a 'what's going on in the world' sort of mood. Radio is pretty much the only exposure I get to new music these days.

My car stereo is one of those new fangled ones with no CD player, just USB, bluetooth etc.

There's a 500 gig USB drive in the glovebox with pretty much everything I own on it. :D

A mixed bag, including the last item!

The State Cows - The Second One
    Whitesnake - 1987
Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
    John Mayer - Continuum

Can I include my old neighbour's arse trumpet? Gave the "old bird" a lift to the GPs the other day and she couldn't stop tooting in the back!

@Kebabkid LOL for the flatulence anecdote, not the choice in music.  ;)

I only bother with CDs on longer trips to keep the kids and me entertained. Led Zep III, Debussy, French dance music, The Fall and Kraftwerk was the mix we had last time.

There's other stuff saved to the car hard drive but I keep forgetting it's there and I'm not sure what's on it.

Radio is usually on Arrow, Team Rock or R4 extra.

For me, always radio and several stations on hand for when one has ads that are too annoying or the DJs go into inane banter mode.

Mostly - Capital, Forth/Clyde (depending on which side of Harthill I am ;).) or Radio 1, sometimes Radio 2 or Real (pushing it, usually only if there's crap on all the others at once).

Yes, standard mainstream commercial radio… there's a lot of variety on a typical station and you hear new stuff and stuff you haven't heard for years a lot. I have no interest in specialist genre programming at all.
