Anyone know how to edit audio in Powerpoint for Mac?

I'm looking to add audio for a presentation, however, I only want certain parts of each song I use.  Mainly the riffs!

Anyway, I've looked on Powerpoint and the only options I seem to have are:

• Start automatically
• On click
• Across all slides

From, what I can see there is nothing available for me to trim the audio or start it from a certain point.

Any ideas?

Trim in a different programme. You can do it in iTunes easily.
