I know I love the sound of an overdriven electric guitar but there's something about a distorted blues harp that just shakes my soul. The difference in sound between a weedy harmonica and a snorting overdriven blues harp is just phenomenal.

just realised that's Rusty Zinn on guitar! Last time I spotted him he had ginger dreadlocks. Love blues harp. There's something about it and slide guitar that it like peaches and cream or pizza and beer. They are fine on their own but together greater than the sum of their parts. Here's a fantastic number called "Bring That Thing" by Harry Manx and Greg Leisz with Steve Marriner on harmonica.

The solos start at about 1.45 if you can't wait.
