Laney Linebacker PL100 Twin?
Anyone have any experience with these? Picking one up locally in the next few days but information is sparse; this is a solid state 2x12 beast in great nick with all push-pull pots working. The guy selling it describes it as 'Marshall sounding' and being very gainy, I was just wondering if ICBM or any other amp gurus have any knowledge on this amp? Ta!

I had the head version many moons ago. I remember it being good on the cleans, not so great on the OD. But then, talking 80s SS, I guess that's to be expected in the main.
I was playing in a 2 guitar band at the time and the other chap had a JCM800 valve job, the Laney sound very weak compared to that.
However, it never let me down, and wasn't a bad sounding amp, through a 4x12. I ended up selling and getting a Marshall though...
