  • It says it's analogue... Is it seriously a rat, dist + and DS-1 in one box?

If so... That's actually kinda amazing.

I tried one a few years back. I can't remember exactly why but it wasn't good. It was something functional rather than the sound that made it not fit for my requirements.

Since Behringers are all SMD components made by soldering robots and those are relatively simple circuits I'm sure it's possible to at least approximate the toanz of those pedals. I suspect you won't get the "correct" parts where the mojo is supposed (rightly or wrongly) to live, but you will get three dirt pedals in one.

The £12 deal goes across a couple of other of these format Behringer Pedals by the way - do a site search and maybe uncover something usable??

Bass overdrive and bass limiter. There are worse things to spend twelve quid on...

I would have thought the distortion thing contained a Dist+, ds1 and a Rat in the same way that Tesco lasagne contains "beef"

The Preamp Booster is good.  I had one years ago.  Very nice leave on all the time pedal.

Apparently DV give you a 30 day money back guarantee and a 3 year warranty...

So I ordered a couple of the tube overdrive pedals.

    EDIT

I see Behringer also offer a three year warranty.

Received my pedals today and neither of them came with a three pin UK power supply.

So no good to me in that state.

Surely the know they have to supply with a UK plug if selling in the UK?

    Update

So DV sent me out two plug adapters and these things hum and squeal like crazy. So I borrowed the correct UK there pin adapter from a mate and no hum or squeal.

So have written again requesting the correct UK power adapters for these pedals, as the two prong European ones do not work in the UK correctly.

Anyone else ordered these should check their PSUs as the ones DV include are not the correct ones for the UK market.

My VT911 came with a European adaptor, but I've got another I can use so it's not too much of an issue for me.

I must admit I didn't realise DV247 were a German company until my package arrived, how observant am I?!!

The European one sounds awful in terms of background noise. Not useable at all.

How does the vt911 think actually sound when using the correct plug? Their muff copy in the same kind of enclosure was actually quite good.

Any comparable sounding overdrives for an idea of what it does?
