    Hours of fun with a Fuzz Factory.
    Not easy to get right first time though. I've had to make a sort of chart of settings that work for me.

    I found the fuzz factory to be a total pain in the arse to work with live (I know plenty of people like them).

    The Swollen Pickle and Mastotron are really great fuzzes that are a bit more manageable.

    Fuzz Factory is a lot of fun but for live a Mastotron or Zoom Ultra fuzz are a bit easier to manage. That said loads of folks use the FF live and get on ok with it.

    The zoom ultra fuzz has a gate which I think is what you really want for that sound in the OP.
