They are that bad that the whole audience are wearing ear defenders!

Not my cup of tea - I couldn't listen to whole song let alone a full concert!

One of my favourite bands at the moment.  Just astonishing stuff.

My favourite video from this session is 'Outlier'. The arrangements are amazing as is the sax solo. See the girl who plays viola sat watching the drummer, she's just awestruck..  I love the moment where the tempo picks up over the solo and the two keyboard players start hollering with excitement.. just brilliant stuff!

Not the biggest fan of their music but great players no doubt.  Very impressed with their guitar player when I saw them live last year.  Sounded bloody fantastic with a Strat, medium sized pedal board and an HRD.  Made me question the whole "boutique amps" thing.

Live the impression I got was it was the bass player's band.  Seemed like one of those guys who in addition to being an excellent player had confidence and energy off the scale but not the spark that separates a skilful craftsman from a genuine creative artist. YMMV of course.

Probably great musicians but spoiled by playing that dreadful modern /fusion jazz that some people pretend to enjoy and even pretend to understand................horrible stuff ........its not music .......you can't walk away and hum that tune
I understand it as much as the next man ( which is very little ) .its not big and its not clever

Or maybe you just don't get it?

I definitely walk away humming the melodies to Skate U and Slow Demon.
    Amazing musicians and brilliant writing.

That keyboard solo was fantastic. Those are words I've never said or written before.

Interesting thread. I'll try to give them a proper listen. The little bit I've just checked out is a little too 'smooth' for my tastes but I'll try to give them a fair go.

They've got an interesting sounding track called Shofukan which has a lot of Miles Davis in it (Portia off Tutu) which is a nice enough style but can get too laid back, but to their credit they grind it up a bit towards the end.
