Color suggestions for a P bass

What's Hot

I'm thinking of ordering a P bass body in nitro from Bravacaster.com. All Fender colors are available. What are your suggestions please (no sunburst or white though, too many of those around already).

At the moment, I'm considering either shoreline gold, sherwood green or lake placid blue but that may change in the next five minutes.

Cheers

Lake placid blue with rosewood fretboard, or else a pastel color like surf green or sonic blue or shell pink

    Black with tortoise guard.

Or any of those colours (I'd go for LPB personally) with a gold anodised guard.

You know this is just going to be a list of Fender colours by the end of page 1, right?

So in that vein; Fiesta red, black or inca silver, all with tort guard and rosewood board.

Thanks guys. Well, LPB is ahead, I think. There are several different shades of LPB, I personally like the darker more metallic like this one:

This is what Bravacaster is showing in their website which I think is pretty close:

  • Go for blue sparkle like the Steve Harris P bass, I'd go black guard instead of mirror personally.

Suprised nobody suggested Sherwood Green, don't see many, if any, on a pbass, awesome colour with maple neck.

It was one of my initial possibilities, not out of the equation yet.

I'd go for either Shoreline Gold or Olypmic White green guard with rosewood board, or blonde maple board gold anodized guard.

I was expecting this thread to have a few pics by now!

Anyway, I am now feeling tempted by this color which I'd never even considered before:

I love the OW/ tortoise/ rosewood combo but I have already built a strat with that color combination. The shoreline is also in my short list:

I like sherwood on strats and jags and maybe J basses, but I don't like it on anything else tbh.
