FS/FT Bulldog humbuckers - sold

Bought here a couple of weeks ago...
I think they are a PAF and an extremist  (the same pickups Clarkey uses apparently)
Zebra, bridge pickup is trem spaced, boxed with direct mount screws and plenty of length on the cables.



Nothing wrong with the pickups but I haven't fitted them.    I didn't spot the pics in the original ad showing they were direct mounting.  I needed to use them with pickup rings so the screws that came with were no use to me - I ordered some new ones and of course they are too thin. So I could look for bigger screws to fit but as I bought them on impulse just to try I'll pass them on...  if you want to direct mount them then you're good to go and if you want to put them in a scratchplate etc you'll need screws to fit.

Alnico V magnet extremists. It is possible to tap the baseplate for bigger screws, like an M2.5.

I'm impressed - thanks for the info.   I'm sure they are fantastic pickups I just wished I'd checked that it would be a simple install without needing to find bigger screws - or I had a guitar that would suit direct mount pickups
