    I struggle terribly with bursts and Les Pauls,I can't go with cherry and any of that red to yellow looking stuff...this is a rich burgundy to honey whicy looks proper vintage. I thought I'd struggle with the neck size as I'm a small handed bastard but it is the most comfortable I've ever felt on a Les Paul. I had no issue buying blind as I knew I could always send it back ...

    I think that really stretches the definition of "plaintop"!  Mine is the same colour but doesn't have as much flame as that.
