Just a quick update.

Haven't started to sand or polish up the nitro yet. So wanted to wait till this weekend and make a start on that possibly.

However I figured I could get a feel for the instrument by laying out the parts to see if everything aligns etc.

So here you go.

I still need to buy a pickup, a cap and some pots for it...

As usual my 'Man Cave' is in a mess, so excuse the stuff everywhere.

Little bit of flattening the finish this afternoon. 

Don't want it too shiny or glossy, just nice an smooth. 

 Hopefully it will then suit the aged neck I have for it. All I have to buy for it is the pickup and as of yet I think I'm going to try a TV Jones and a Mojotron in there. Just so I can see which I prefer.

So will maybe do a test run of putting it all together and order a pickup sometime next week for it.

Was one of these, though it looks like they are out of stock at the moment.

I managed to find an aged one on there though, but couldn't see it on there just now, so its probably buried in there somewhere. Also got my 'Heavy Knurled Knobs' from there and they are really very nice. Well worth the money on all the hardware I got from them in fact. Really nice quality 'chunky' stuff.

This is the last one that I aged in a the freezer. Its a glossy finish and so it shows it up quite nicely, so not sure how the new one will turn out yet, compared to this white one.

All dints and knocks were added by me being a clutz and not faked. However the checking was certainly a result of a few hours in the cooler,
