Burgundy Mist Metallic Refinish - Done it again!

Like a total tart I've forgotten to take pics of this through the progression stages, what I can tell you is, it started out life Black, then I painted it Lake Placid Blue, this then melted off in parts where it was in contact with a guitar stand so decided to attempt to mix up as true a version of Burgundy Mist as I could, based on the 59' Oldsmobile version which I feel is the truest form of the colour, and bearing in mind this is another bitch of a colour that has about 5 or 6 variations out there. Anyway, Looks pretty splendid if you ask me.

Neck was also tinted with a few coats of tinted nitro to give that vintage honey vibe.

Topped off with a Pearloid Guard and a set of Mojo Pickups Wide Range Hmbuckers it plays sounds and feels a damn site better than some £1000+ guitars out there.

    Predictably great work.  Love that particular colour and one of very few that really screams out for a pearloid scratchplate.
