Quick pedal building question

Hey folks

I'm rehousing a pedal I built years ago. I need a new 9V DC socket thing. One of these things:

I have two questions:

1. Unlike pots, etc, are these things all created equal? Will those ones be alright? 

2. Some of them are 2.1mm and some are 2.5mm. I don't know what the dimension in question is or how I choose between them. I just want a standard boss sized 9V DC connector.

1. Dunno on the quality, but the round one is a good idea, as cutting a square hole is a pain. I've bought a similar black one and it was fine. If you only need one you might be better off getting one from there with a few other bits than the eBay purchase.

2. Boss is 2.1mm.

The box I'm using already has a round hole cut for the DC jack (its not so much a rehouse---I took the innards out to paint the box but broke the existing jack whilst doing so). 

I have a few bits to order so I'll work out the best place to get them from once I have the list...
