Anyone heard Focus by Cynic?

I recently discovered this album via RYM.  Usually I can't stand death metal or any subgenre but this is something completely different:

Have you also tried Atheist? Some later Death albums featured Sean and Paul from Cynic.

Just a quick listen to Atheist on Youtube.  I like the instrumentation but the vocals are awful.  The Cynic album at least some vocoder vocals which is a break from the usual death metal growls.  It also has a lot of instrumental parts.
