For me, the one I remember most is the bit where Sabrina's nipple slipped out in Boys (Summertime Love).

6:05. "Choosing to be here in... this body... this body holding me... be my reminder here that I am not alone..."

    Spine tingle moment for me.

Pretenders - Back On The Chain Gang - the key change at the end of the middle eight.

Still makes me catch my breath even after thirty years and having heard it hundreds of times.

2:32 - when everything goes a little bit mental...

    3:00 - that synth part

    2:00 and 3:45 - you'll just have to listen

Stevie Ray Vaughan on his worst album but one of his best tracks, "Life Without You" at almost exactly 03:00 when the solo kicks off. Blindingly emotional playing:

The moment when Hendrix ends Little Wing - imagine what heights of musical beauty the final solo could have blown up into, but instead it ends and leaves us forever wondering what it could have been (well that is until with here SRV's version ;-) )

Lyrically, REM - The One I Love, the bit where the fact it's not a love song is made obvious.

Also the quiet almost whispered "until I find some body new" right at the end of Damien Rice - The Blowers Daughter

Visually, got to be the end of the video for Smack My Bitch Up - The Prodigy

The problem with woah moments shared in this way is you need to listen to them in context to get the full effect and not just skip straight to the cool bit. Totally get what you mean though.

Here's an awesome Dredg song, slow builder until the chorus kicks in at 1:39.

Also this whole song. Very powerful, deals with his disillusion with the music industry, and wanting to return to old drug taking habits despite knowing how it will end. Can't pick a woah moment, it is a woah song to me.

    Excellent.

Also the huge snare reverb bit at 4:39 on this track.
This had such a huge effect on me that in every commercial production I've done  I mange to sneak in what I call the 'Tool snare'- one snare hit with massive reverb, as a kind of homage.

Then go back to 3:52 and hear one of the mightiest riffs of all time and then marvel at the total confidence and restraint they have to only play for one refrain, then its gone and they are onto something else.
Very few bands have the stones to do that sort of thing- anyone else would hammer it into the ground until it loses all meaning and relevance.
Consequently this song never gets old to me.
