Always absolutely loved The Doors but never particularly Light my fire , played to death etc.

Just been fumbling about on YouTube and found this with Eddie Vedder from 93.



Robbie stars at 3 mins in , what a hypnotic player and man that tone.

Supposedly Light My Fire is the first song Robbie Krieger ever wrote.

He has an amazing touch and tone.

Seen a fair bit of footage of Eddie and the remaining Doors, he's does a pretty good job, very similar writing styles if you too away the LSD from Jim for 5 minutes.

I love the guitar on some of the quieter Doors songs too- stuff like 'I Can't See Your Face In My Mind' and 'You're Lost, Little Girl'. Plus 'Moonlight Drive' - that slide part is just right!
