We're adding Brown Sugar to the set, so I'm trying it in Open G tuning. It's great!

It is. And one of the few legitimate reasons for bringing an extra guitar to a gig, IMO.

Next week, open D. Get far enough down that open tuning road and it might become an excuse to buy more guitars. Win.

I'm currently getting into DADGAD on my acoustic.

Never really bothered with alternative tunings in over 30 years of playing (how bad is that??) but its really inspiring.

Ah yes - DADGAD. I was blown away when I realised that Kashmir used DADGAD.

One of my favourite singer/songwriters uses it quite a bit - Steve Tilston.
