Finally got around to finishing this project:




The neck is from an old Strat that I've had knocking about & the body is a Guitarbuild one that I got off here.

It's finished in Wudtone Carmine Gipsy and has kind of a burnt orange look to it.

Pickups are Gibson mini-humbuckers.

    What do the mini-buckers sound like?
    Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman, in which case always be Batman.
    My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

    Having finally had the time to plug it in and play, the mini humbuckers are very good.

    The bridge is a classic rock riff-machine and the neck is very smooth for solo'ing.

    Clean, it's quite "Strat-y" but without any of the brittleness that I don't really get on with.
