Tube screamer mod

I've got a Joyo Vintage Overdrive which I don't really use and was thinking of modding for a laugh.

I'm going to buy this switch

Then connect red LEDs to one side, the original diodes in the other and finally back to the board in place of d1 and d2.

Can anyone who knows what they're doing advise where I'd be best connecting the switch I'm not sure if it would go into d1 or d2.
