Wtf is going on here? (George Benson content)

I'm unsure if I'd be able to do any of this track justice, but the bit that's particularly eluding me is 2:10-2:40, with all those really weird-sounding double-stops... what interval is it? I honestly can't tell, my best guess would be 4ths but it sounds wider than that... could it perhaps be a mix of 4ths and octaves? And if so, how the sweet baby Jesus did he ever manage to play that?


Anyone, any idea?

  • Check out my version: George Benson - Being With You: Might give you an idea of some of his licks. Those octave things he does are a mixture of the root, a perfect 5th/4th above, and the octave, I'd I remember correctly!
