Learning the intro of 'Johnny B Goode'. I alluded to this in another post.

Lock all the Doors by Noel Gallagher.

Our singer is a massive Noel/Oasis fan and he was desperate to get that in the set,

3:42 long, but takes less than half that to learn it. Good ol' Noel.

I can't imagine you having much of a problem with any of those Clarky.

I'm learning Megadeth Train of Consequences.  The rhythm parts are easy but Marty's lead is pretty hard to get down and memorise.

Made a start on the solo from Hotel California this morning.      It's not fast and widely but has enough little quirky bits to make it interesting.     I'm cheating and using youtube instead of transcribing it and breaking it into 30 second chunks - a lot of notes to remember!

Trying to nail the acoustic version of fleetwood mac's big love at the moment, it's not hard to play, but difficult to own, if you know what I mean,

I love that solo.  Not fast as you say but really great phrasing and note choices.

I've got a few that i am trying to nail at the moment, although extended periods away from the guitar are not helping......

    Hotel California (Solo's)
    Sweet Child o' Mine (Solo's)
Kashmir (Almost there with that one)
    Livin' Lovin' Maid
    Stairway to Heaven (Solo)
    Sultans of Swing (Solo's)
Run Like Hell (I just bought a delay pedal and now have to learn to play 'With' the delay so it's like starting again with phrasing)
    Crazy Diamond (See Above !)

Got from beginning to end of FOI last night, albeit at 55BPM.

The solo's are going to take some effort to nail dead-on.....

I'm prepping for an open mic, so here's my set. It's acoustic guitar and vocals (I can't justifiably call it singing). American Slang: Gaslight Anthem
    Sweet child o mine: g'n'r
Ballad of me and my friends: Frank Turner
    Have a drink on me:ACDC
    Redemption Song: Bob Marley
