I run into a Fender Prosonic clean channel which is a really loud amp so I can't get it past 2 and get any natural break up so I use pedals to get all the sound shaping. I use a Boss CS3 (Monte Allum modded) first which is good for giving a bit more body and but I was finding the sound still a bit light weight and weak when playing with the band. So I bought a Timmy what with all the hype an' all and set it on edge of break up with a bit of bass rolled off after the CS3 and its is just the ticket! - It couldn't be better for all the funky cleans songs - which are mercifully not too often!
P.S. Guitars on full vol and tone - either bridge humbucker or position 2 on strat 5 way, or middle position on Les Paul
