Absinthe - weird stuff innit

So, looking through a Black n Red book of stuff I found I had an account on a random music site and found a track which I have absolutely no recollection of recording - must be 12 years ago -- and I dunno, it just tickled me with random vocal noises.  I've transferred it here for a bit.

The wonderful thing about absinthe is that you get creative and then black out.  Maybe "wonderful" isn't the right word.  Black out probably is.

Thank you!  Oh, far too much.  I basically write and upload randomly then forget about it.

    Some collections though:

    Wine and absinthe:
    The Rat Pit

    Sobriety and random ideas:
    Grünfeld

But way too much songs and ideas.

@Danny1969 Flippin' eck I'd forgotten all about that!  Goji aced it, I remember it now, loved his intensity.  And love your playing on that! :)
"Look after and nurture guinea pigs.. that is all"
    Beautiful sentiment.

London accent to the fore, plus ancient references to smoking at work:

    Take stuff from work...
    Hear this guitar get nicked

Love the corporate stealing track and the voiceover on part 3. I've had a fairly busy week at work and this cheered me up.

    That is all...

@Jalapeno - it will have been a sampled melodica (I reckon that's what it is too), definitely not a real one because I don't have one!  I had totally forgotten about this tune but I know it's me because I recognise my bass playing (and *cough* the track I was listening too when I must've recorded this).  And the "tin bath" is me playing about with the fader on a separately printed track of the reverb which is how it sounds so gated at the end of the song (I really like that effect!).

I used to play three hour sets of jazz piano in a cocktail bar in Vienna, when the regulars used to offer me a drink, I'd just say "überraschen Sie mir", ie surprise me. Usually this led to something florescent in a girly glass being presented to me half way through a Cole Porter. One time I was brought an absinthe, and did the last two hours of my set under its effect.

I've no idea how well that went but they didn't sack me...
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me
