I'm actually quite partial to a good relic job but think I might enjoy looking at bad ones even more.... There's some properly good schadenfreude to be had from trying to work out just what on earth was in the mind of the chap as he was strategically randomly sanding away at bits of the thing...

I don't normally check these 'here's another relic' thread because they are usually quite anger making (like those battered dog photos people share on Facebook).  Indeed THAT is awful and anger making.  The price is so laughable.  There was that early 80s pink paisley Strat for sale on here (which IMO is one of the best Strats ever made) that wasn't selling for much, much less than that tragedy.

It's more than twice, I'm sure - it's come up on my saved search emails several times.

Stupid though it looks, it's probably a perfectly decent MIJ Strat that would be fine after a setup (and a strip or refinish).  The ridiculous thing is the price, he should be putting it on a 99p start and hoping for the best.
