Joe Pass Appreciation Thread

Saw him on a double bill with Oscar Petersen as a youngster.  Pass played solo, Petersen played solo, then they did some duet stuff.  I must admit it didn't grab me, both players were obviously fabulously skilled musicians but the music was too dry/cerebral/abstract for me. And I like my fair share of music people would regard as dry/cerebral/abstract,

Me too. Can't remember the exact year but a quick calculation makes it '76 or '77.
