In praise of the cabinet scraper

Last month I was impressed when I first used a router, but a cabinet scraper is absolute magic.  A simple piece of steel.  It's so controllable, takes off exactly what you want to remove, from exactly where you want to remove it, and leaves a surface that only 600 wet and dry can improve on.  I feel as excited as a child amongst all you grown ups.
