If you want a great day out with the family  have a look at the link below. Not only can you buy wood at very reasonable prices, you'll find large planks of figured wood that you wouldn't find anywhere else. If you take your children along they will have a great day there is a miniature railway that runs round the grounds. You can see trees being cut down then being dragged out of the forest by heavy horses, then going on to machines to cut the logs up into planks. They normally have a Hog roast on the go all day loads of different types of food beers and wines.
