Some 12AX7, EL84 and 6HN2b Valves for sale or maybe even trade

I decided to try some different valves for the H & K GM36 I bought off @Stefb of this very parish and ended up going for a whole set of Tung Sol reissues, which are very lovely.

Anyway the valves that were in the GM36 are working fine so may do someone a turn in their spares box, I have some TAD spares if I need them.

They are marked as China 12AX7B for the preamp ones and China EL84 for the power amp valves. So not too sure which actual company makes them but as H & K spec them as OEM so they cannot be too bad.

For the whole set of 3 X 12AX7Bs + 4 X EL84s I am looking for £35 ovno posted in the UK, may be up for swaps with something like a pedal or whatever. The packaging from the Tung Sols will be used to ship them as it got them here fine.

Here are a few pics.

I have put in the region of 25 or so hours use on them and they were new with the amp when bought in January this year by Stefb, not sure how many hours prior to this. They seemed still quite lively with no signs of any issues.

Next years ago I bought a set of 8 X 6HN2b valves for an amp I no longer have and rediscovered them very recently in a box unused from new.

They are Russian high gain low noise nearly 12AX7 equivalent but require a mod on a lot of amps wiring wise on the valve bases, or a little converter that can be bought so no resolder is required. Here is the skinny on them and there is a lot of info out there on them too.

It is a 6H2N, Russia's version of the 12AX7.  Almost identical in specs but with a 6.3 volt heater on pins 4,5 just like the 6N1P, 6DJ8, 6922 tubes you are now using.  Difference is gain.  The 6H2N has approx. twice the gain.

Made in RUSSIA

E - for long - lived (up to 5000 hours and more) tubes.
V - for mechanically improved tubes.

Russian inscription is " EB " "E" designator means ~ extended life "B" designator means ~ improved mechanical constriction).

English inscription is " EV " E - for long - lived (up to 5000 hours and more) tubes.
V - for mechanically improved tubes.

They have chrome plated pins.

The 6H2N-EB Vacuum tube, also known as a 6N2P tube has a slightly higher gm then the 12AX7 / ECC83, giving it more power and authority than the 12AX7 / ECC83. Great tube for replacements.

Low-microphonics double triodes; close by characteristics to the ECC83 ~ 12AX7. They have the same pinout only the filament is 6.3V (they draw about 0.34A filament current) These can easily be rewired.

Preferred Substitutes .......... 6AX7, 6H2N, 6H2Npi, 6N2, 6N2P, 6N2P-EV, 6N2P-EB, 6N2pi

Substitutes when rewired .............12AX7,ECC88

Before you plug the 6H2N into your present 12AX7 socket, you'll need to wire 4 and 5 to receive each of the 6.3 VAC legs off the PT heater line. Remove the heater line connection, present on Pin 9; for the 12AX7.

Not sure what to ask for them but they are surely worth £3 each or a trade for a pedal or whatever of similar value. So maybe £24 plus postage at cost paid for by the buyer.
