SOLD Heritage 535 Semi acoustic from 1990 reduced!!

Heritage H535 from 1990. In really great nick for its 25 years, a few minor marks here and there but nothing serious. Posting it as a fovour for my mate who doesn’t do computers very well.

Not sure what the colour is but its looks fab, it plays faultlessly .

£1175  collected from Aylesbury/Bicester or Chesham during working hours.

Lovely! What is the neck profile? I believe the earlier ones like yours had a slimmer neck, but they are all hand carved so vary.

thanks for the comments. 

The neck profile is more on the slim side and very comfortable in the hand, as far as I can tell the pickups are not the original (Schaller) ones, but not sure what they are as my mate has never taken them out of the guitar.

I think the colour is Antique Sunburst.

Not having the Schallers in it is a big plus in my book. My Heritage doesn't have them anymore either.

My 535 came from the factory with a set of SD59's in it but I didn't think they really suited it either. It now has a set of Wolftone Dr Vintages in it and sounds pretty stellar !

The SDs were a big improvement on the Shallers. Mine now has ASL custom shops and it sounds stellar. It is also much better put together than a Gibson of that era. That H535 looks lovely.

Thanks for the info mate.

My mate took the pups out tonight, they are Duncan JB's, he say's one sticker say's JBJ and the other JNJ. cant find any info on the JNJ, guessing it stands for 'neck' but apparently they last J means they were wound by Maricella Juarez, who appears to be Duncans equivalent to Fenders Abby Ybarra, so the price has gone up

Ha and why not.  The guy at the guitar show said if you take it away today you can have it for £xxx which was a lot of money back then but I was 17 and skint.  Gutted.  If I had the £1275 today you'd have a sale.  Alas, forties and still skint!

Yep
