Quick Ipad question

Girlfriend just bought an ipad to display her lyrics what is the best app to have which can display the lyrics and possibly scroll as well. And also seeing as we have most of her lyrics already in word or pdf format can we just bung the files in or do I have to do it all again?

I use Set List Maker, and a Bluetooth pedal for scrolling. Our singer uses PowerPoint, or what ever the tablet equivalent is, and his finger.

Keynote is the iPad version of power point. You can get a PP app for free but it will only display, you can't create on it. I'm suprised it's the best way of doing it, although I don't know what the alternative is.

Guitar tabs HD has a surprising amount of chord and song sheets that scroll (and have tabbed version if thats your thing)
Thats what I used in the wedding band

  • I use unrealBook in my cover band, it's excellent :-)

You can setup setlists on it as well. The singer in the band even links his MP3 backing tracks to his lyric PDF's when going out solo. He just runs a cable from the headphone out on the ipad into his mixer and he's good to go.
