Leaf fret inlays, yay or nay?

doing my first build, as outlined elsewhere. Part of me really wants to to the fret inlays as leaves, and part of me thinks it may not look so good. Too OTT? I have a pic of them somewhere, I'll dig it out later when I'm not on the ipad. Ultimately I will decide myself, but I'd be interested to know what others think.

Gut says no, but it depends on how busy the body decor is.

Depends how big. Imo, diddy ones the size of normal dots would be subtle, understated and classy. Large ones the size of PRS birds may be marmite- some will love, some won't. mock it up on photoshop if you have it?
