Strap Pin Popping Out...........

The strap pin keeps pulling out of the body of my acoustic. I've just started using it more recently, after 18 odd years of ownership, but in the real world I'm a bit of an acoustic novice. So, how do I best fix it in? I'm assuming my trusty tube of superglue will be frowned upon?

A blob of superglue should be fine.

I would roughen it with some sandpaper or a nail file and 'twist' it in - that will usually give enough friction to hold it. If it doesn't, I would use wood glue rather than superglue - although a *tiny* amount of superglue should be fine.

Whatever you do don't hammer it in - you can split the endblock.
