Split in guitar top ... :(

http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm297/stuagu/image_8.jpeg So this is my bud toms guitar.... One of his dear children we think was the guilty culprit although no one is sticking their hand up... This happened while in the case so perhaps a bouncing child on top but it must have been a fair thump because the case is pretty solid. It's a garrison so a decent guitar but obviously not worth chucking a ton of cash at ... As you can hopefully see it's a split perhaps 5 inches in length and I can push it back together from the inside although there is plenty of bracing on the inside so it's a little tight. So ... Is it an easy fix that an absolute cakhanded clutz like me cando or is it best take to someone who knows what there doing? He's not bothere about cosmetics just wants to close the split... Any help ideas offers to fix it I would be grateful for . Kent based . Kindest regards to u and your s Gu

Absolutely Andy could do it but it's not going to be financially sensible for my bud to pay him to do it because it might cost what the guitars worth. ... Andy is the go to guy , stunning guitar fixer setter upper
