Pribora hand-wound Strat pickups from Russia

I've just ordered a set of these for my parts Strat. 

They seem be built with attention to detail (embossed flatwork is neat) using the same components everyone else uses. Best bit is, a full set was £38 inc postage!

I bought the flat set, because I like all my strings to be the same volume. Will report back when they arrive.

I've been looking at those, and a few other ebay offerings. Will be interested to know what you think when they arrive, and especially once installed in your parts strat.

I've heard these are primarily sold to support the Assad regime in Syria. The Shia cheek of it!

Put a set of Pribora Voodos in my 97 mexi strat quite a while ago- sounds superb, its become my favourite solid electric.

   To put that into perspective I've got 7 fenders a mix of Strats & Teles; Mex,MIJ and US.

   They're height sensitive but extremely well balanced.

     Sound excellent in most combinations - standard switching/neck&bridge or even all three.

  

   Had to remove excess wax from the top (around the magnets) to get the covers to fit ok.

   Takes between 2 / 3 weeks for Uk delivery.

    Have had a few different sets off him-not had a chance to fit them yet
