Sold: One of these Marshalls: Original Silver Jubilee 2550 or Reissue 2555X **Price Drops**

Right, I went on a bit of a Marshall journey and quite happy with the destination but two Jubilees is a bit excessive.

Therefore, ONE is for sale and when one has gone the other will be withdrawn. In testament to the reissues I don't mind if it's the original or the reissue that sells.

Silver Jubilee 2555X bought new from Coda this year, mint condition

£600 collected

Silver Jubilee Original 25/50 watt 2550. It's not mint but I think in good condition for it's age.

£1250 collected.

I'd probably not be up for another Marshall unless it was something different/special given my current situation :-)

Just out of interest is there much difference sonically between the two??

There are differences, but as these are the only two I've owned it's hard to know if it's because the original is a 50 watt model or if it's due to the differences between reissue and original.

I'd thought about doing some reamped clips but life is getting in the way at the moment.

If someone wants to send me some dry guitar tracks in a style that might show off the differences I might consider doing the work of re-amping them through both heads...but it will be a couple of weeks before I can get to it...

Thanks @TimmyO appreciate the kind words. I've dropped the price on the reissue as one shop had dropped it's new price on the reissue.

@Bungle1 I would consider some kind of shipping at buyers cost and risk, and would need payment by bank transfer.

The amp comes with a foot switch but no speaker lead.

Reissue sold subject to the usual and this also removes the original from sale as I would like to keep a jubilee in the den!
