4k tv on a Mac

Ok I bit the bullet and took advantage of Curry's pre Black Friday deals and picked up a 43" LG 43UF68 Ultra HD, or 4K. It runs at 3840 x 2160 at 60hz perfectly on my 2015 MacBook Pro . To get the refresh rate I had to use both the HDMI AND Thunderbolt to HDMI connectors, removing either one made it default to 30hz. In Logic X, the amount of space available is crazy and the eye strain is reduced . So I'll be flogging my 28" Dell XPS monitor
