Cigar box pickups

I'm in the very early stages of building a cigar box guitar from scratch - 3 string - and at the moment i'm gathering together all the bits before starting the build.
Has anybody got any suggestions what pickup to use?
I was thinking maybe a rails type with the blades rather than a normal pup with it only having 3 strings.
Any suggestions chaps?

Or if the string spacing is narrow, half a P-Bass pickup with the strings aligned between the poles rather than over them? (This works, it's how the pickup is meant to be used on bass strings.)
