OK I'd like to talk about the Amazon Video series version of this but there may be similarities to the book so if you don't want spoilers do not read this thread :-)

OK, they've gone...

So do I understand right then that the films turn out to be newsreels all from various different alternate realities? I didn't miss an explanation of their source did I, they just 'are' ?

Oh and the only man in a high castle was Hitler - was he behind the collection operation, playing both sides?

have you read the book?

from what I recall, there is only 40-50% correlation in the stories

in the book, the man in the high castle was not Hitler, and I can't remember the book being anything like as clever and interesting as the TV series

Just finished this season and thought it was a bit meh tbh, didn't feel much empathy for any of the main characters.

I might read the book now however.
